Occasionally live jazz is presented (onstage or in The Lobby Bar) at The Studio Theatre (central Arkansas's newest community-theatre venue, opened on 31 July 2014 at the corner of West 7th and Spring Streets in downtown Little Rock). On 20 January 2015, the venue began presenting monthly “Jazz Spot Tuesday” events (ticketed via eventbrite.com), each of which began with a happy hour (5:30 p.m. in The Lobby Bar), continued with a two-set jazz concert (7 p.m. in the theatre), and benefitted a different Arkansas nonprofit; though this short-lived series was discontinued the same year, on 18 July 2016 “Third-Monday Jazz” (7:30-10:30 p.m.) debuted in The Lobby Bar

EFFECTIVE 10 OCTOBER 2016, The Lobby Bar is open only for scheduled/special events (including its free, monthly “Monday Jazz” session open to the public) and during theatrical productions in The Studio Theatre. Seating capacity is approximately 70 for The Lobby Bar (which includes a performance space with concert piano) and 100-120 for the adjoining theatre. Accessible (ADA) seating is provided upon request. Parking is available on all sides of (and across the street from) the venue.
