The new series "Conversations In The Jazz Cave," continues in 2018 with a very special appearance by vocalist Mandy Barnett, interviewed by Lori Mechem. It takes place Thursday, March 15 at 7pm in the Jazz Cave at the Nashville Jazz Workshop.

"Conversations In The Jazz Cave," features an evening of music and conversation with one of Music City's brightest stars, along with Nashville Jazz Workshop founders and directors Lori Mechem and Roger Spencer. Also on hand will be guitarist Andy Reiss, a longtime member of Mandy's band.

A singer since the age of five, Mandy Barnett is a world-class vocalist whose style is deeply rooted in the crooning of the all-time great singers. The Crossville, Tennessee native first garnered national attention as a teenager, earning rave reviews for her portrayal of the legendary Patsy Cline in the theatrical production AlwaysPatsy Cline at Nashvilles famed Ryman Auditorium, and appearing in this title role on the original cast album. Barnett comes to "Conversations In The Jazz Cave," on the heels of a two-concert run with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

2018 will bring a new Barnett album, an eclectic mix of Americana and roots music.

The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones. Audio and video recording is prohibited. Ticket sales are final.
