Tjp (the Jost Project) With Special Guest Joel Frahm at 55 Bar

Paul Jost brings TJP (formerly known as The Jost Project) and special guest, saxophonist Joel Frahm, to his monthly 55 Bar residency to launch their new CD, “PEACE AND LOVE”. The group will highlight songs like “Get Together,” “Wonderful World,” “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” "Tuesday Afternoon" and “America the Beautiful.” In these tumultuous times, the band hopes the messages in their album will resonate, bringing back reminders of the hippie generation when dialogue and constructive action for peace and love took place everywhere.

As a group, these highly acclaimed musicians interpret classic rock as jazz, reaching into the “baby boomer” and subsequent generations who came of age with rock and roll, the Beatles, hard rock, and other genres which are rarely played by jazz groups.
