Tenor saxophonist Bob Kenmotsu was born in Stockton, CA, and graduated from San Jose State University.
While in New York, Bob was a member of the Jack McDuff organ combo, and the Ruth Brown Band. He recorded ‘The Spark’, with Billy Hart and Ira Coleman, and ‘Bronx Tale’, with Pat Martino and Jack McDuff. Bob also played on Pat Martino’s ‘Nightwings’, with Bill Stewart and Marc Johnson.

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Matt Clark holds a BFA in Jazz Studies from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Highly regarded as a pianist and arranger, he has performed and/or recorded with such jazz icons as Bobby Hutcherson, Benny Golson, Eddie Marshall, Jon Faddis, David “Fathead” Newman, Gene Bertoncini, Joshua Redman, and Teddy Edwards, as well as practically everyone who appeared at Jazz at Pearl's in it's heyday.
Bassist Eric Vogler studied as a youth with Los Angeles guitarists Pete Snell and G. G. Bobues, and at UC Berkeley with Bevan Manson and Steve Coleman.
Eric performs regularly in the Bay Area on both bass and guitar. Notable collaborators include Howard Wiley, Mitch Marcus, Vidya, Ambrose Akinmusire, Joshi Marshall, Sam Ospovat, Bryan Bowman, Geechi Taylor, Lorin Benedict, and Kasey Knudsen.
