The members of Beekman met at a Brooklyn jam session, and named the band after a street in their neighborhood. They subsequently recorded two cds, and toured in the U.S. and South America.
Pablo Menares (Chile) bass, Rodrigo Recabarren (Chile) drums, Yago Vazquez (Spain) piano, and Kyle Nasser (U.S.) on saxophone prove that jazz is truly an international language.
