About
Jazz at MOCA presents the Ignacio Berroa Quartet on October 28 from 8 to 9:15 PM. The concert is FREE, at 770 NE 125th Street, North Miami. It’s a fiery blend that swings like a mother, grooves like a locomotive, never forgetting old country roots. Ignacio possesses the uncanny ability to dazzle with his fills, while he can toss off a single measure in 4/4 time that will lift a crowd to its feet.Ignacio Berroa crackles with the sort of electricity that gets people excited about playing drums in the first place. Grammy-nominated for his album "Codes," Ignacio received a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Montreal Jazz Festival in 2011. Joining Ignacio are Mark Small, Martin Bejerano, and Josh Allen. ...
