Guitarist Chris Vasi takes a chronological journey through jazz, from depression-era standards and tunes from the WWII years (Louis Armstong, Duke Ellington, Les Paul, Django Reinhardt) onward through the 1960′s and into the present. Joined by Brian Cruse (upright bass) and Forrest Young (drums), Vasi will demonstrate the evolution of jazz with a variety of guitar styles.
It's just a 60-minute set: 7-8 pm. (free)
